I never had a problem aside from the fact that I wasted nearly $90. When I installed mine, I never closed it so it would have been better for me to just do the fuse pull. I know not what you're asking but that's my experience. On that note, I never had one problem with the almost 8 months it was installed. Just don't leave it in the on position if the car is going to sit for more than a few weeks or it WILL drain your battery.

Hi, I'm new this forum as a registered member and now have a new 2014 ZL1. In the past I have had Corvette with npp exhaust. I installed the m2w switch on them and now on my ZL1. It is easy to do and it works very well. You will like it.

Does doing the fuse pull drain on your battery? Or does that just pertain to the Mild to Wild switch?

I installed this item and now I have a check battery charging system message and warning light. I will be removing it tonight to see if the error clears.

I installed it, and love it. No problems so far. Of course, I have it set to keep the baffles off all the time. It really is neat, but, for me, probably a waste. Just should have removed the F8 fuse.

You do realize that the setting is Factory Operation or Open. Not off and open right?

If you get a Palmer Performance DashLogic you can leave them open all the time or shut them. Or have it be factory. You also get to display whatever you want on the HUD, DIC, and Radio. I have mine set to monitor knock retard, total timing, IAT2, and rpm. I also have a warning that pops up on the HUD that says SHIFT! at 6000rpm.

I love it works great. I have it open probably 60 percent of the time. But it is nice closeing it when wife or dog is in the car or when I take it to work 5:00 am I want the think to shut the F up. On the ride home i love it wide open.

It will tell you on the install instructions but I'm about positive that you don't want to leave it in the "ON" position when you leave the car to sit for more than a few weeks.

I honestly don't know but I have never heard of it and I doubt it does. There are plenty of folks on here that have pulled the fuse and just left it out. I just can't tell you how long they let the car sit while the fuse is pulled. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge can chime in on this.

I know how it works.

And according to the makers, it's "ON" and "OFF".

Quote:
“ON” factory operation (works as from the factory) open till 1000rpm and then they will close till around 3000rpm. Pressing “ON” will not close them at idle. Exhaust will operate as it did prior to installing mild2wild.

“OFF” The system will remain 100% open until you close it by pressing on (note above when you can expect the exhaust to close and open.
I mean... as long as we're talking semantics here.
