Track day rubber everywhere!

Had my first track day last weekend and I have rubber marks all over the front facia, behind the front tires and in front of the rears. Does anybody know the best way to get said rubber marks off. I washed the car today and only my finger nail or very hard concentrated scrubbing did anything. I got frustrated and left most it on the car and just washed the rest of the car.

Please help!

Try clay bar. If that doesn't work try lighter fluid like for a BBQ. It won't hurt the paint.

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover works great.

I've also used Adams Haze and Swirl remover for stuff like you have behind the front tires. It's slightly abrasive so it picks it up pretty good.

But then there are some "real" experts in here that can probably help you out better.

I always use WD40 on my race bikes and works real well. Then wash off the wd40. Has never hurt the paint.

Google'd and found this.
Once you have it cleaned off you can apply a coating like rejex to help keep thing from sticking.

I removed the rubber with a clay bar. Next time make sure you have a good coat of wax, it will come off easier.

welcome to HPDE...... Like others have suggested, I normally put extra sealant on those areas prior to a driving event. Clean it that evening with soap water and sometimes tar remover from Carpro if it's melted on.

Also, buy the front rock guards it helps cut down the road grime and tire marks 100 % I got mine from showstopers
