Annual Road Trip - Good and Bad

I took my annual road trip for a weekend with family in Ogunquit, Maine. Weather was pretty cool the first few days but warmed right up on Saturday. Took my ZL1 on the 500 mile round trip journey and it performed quite well. Lots of looks on the road and in the hotel parking lot. I had a lot of fun sitting on my second story balcony hearing people gawk over it

The bad...took a rock to the windshield on my way up. Started off as a "star" that would have potentially been able to be repaired, as it was on the passenger side of the windshield, however during a 1 hour lunch stop the heat of the day must have gotten to it, it spread about 4 inches in towards the center of the windshield, and by the time I got home tonight, curved upwards.

Calling the insurance company for a replacement tomorrow.

All in all, it's a blast to drive and turned 6000 miles on my way home.

Nice little trip , it must have been a blast going on a drive that long and in that area , pretty country up there

It was really great- a good amount of back roads that are twisty too
