so I finally decided to start my build thread. I was suppose to start this since the 1st major mod was done.

This is my 1st car I've owned, been a truck guy since I started driving back in 1996. I was going to my local dealer to buy some truck parts and when I pulled up to dealer I seen this Camaro and was like

yea that. I then drove off the next day not knowing nothing about the 5th Gens besides it had a V8 lol. I didn't know I had an LS3 lol just knew it was a 6.2L

so that being said the car was supposed to remain STOCK

that's what I told the wife after her being mad about it being a manual

then few weeks in comes the 1st mod takes place.

1st year I went through a few different setups

stock LS3 with K&N, Kooks LT Headers and custom tune.
stock LS3 with WHIPPLE 2.9L SC, ADM RACE CAI, Kooks LT Headers and custom tune.
stock LS3 short block with GMPP CNC LS3 HEADS, Lingenfelter GT9 cam, WHIPPLE 2.9L SC, ADM RACE CAI, Kooks LT Headers and custom tune.
Manley forged 416 10.0:1 with GMPP CNC LS3 HEADS, custom grind cam, WHIPPLE 2.9L SC, ADM RACE CAI, Kooks LT Headers and custom tune.
Manley forged LSX427 9.25:1 with LSX LS7 CNC heads, custom grind cam, WHIPPLE 2.9L SC, ALKY control meth injection, ADM RACE CAI, Kooks LT Headers and custom tune.
Manley forged with Oliver rods LSX427 9.50:1 with LSX LS7 CNC heads, custom grind cam, CUSOM TWIN PRECISION BILLET BALL BEARING TURBOS, Still under construction

This was in July 2013 LSX 427 2.9 WHIPPLE 10PSI. 1st time out with slicks, Pfadt drag race suspension, Hurst roll control, MGW shifter with tranzilla transmission and Ram clutch slave cylinder
