1LE front splitter protection

Hey guys

So I just had my 1LE's front bumper covered with the Xpel clear protection(By the way that stuff is AWESOME!) and I was wondering how do you guys deal with the chin splitter. Do you guys just leave it unprotected or what do you guys do. I was thinking plastidip it but I wanted to hear some opinions.
Thanks in advance!

if you took it to a window tinting place place or a place that does paint protection, I'm sure they could cut a form that would fit your front splitter. Plasti dip is cool but then the paint job would look different than your factory paint job so I personally wouldn't prefer it. but then if you plasti dipped the rims, the front splitter then it could look cool.

there is also a company that does EZ Fit mask that stretch over the front end with non invasive clips that would fit over the front splitter, they are called EZ fit. here is a link to buy it at a place

Awesome, I was also thinking that plastidip would not match the factory look. I'll take it to the tinting place see what they can do. Thanks JC!

It's textured plastic, man. The benefit of that is that it doesn't sustain road rash, chipping, or pitting like how paint does. Just put a high quality protectant dressing such as Ultima Trim and Tire Guard or Carpro DLux and let it be.

The biggest thing you can do to protect a front chin splitter is to learn to start backing in when you park instead of parking front first.

Not to mention, it's very unlikely any protection film is going to adhere to a textured plastic part like that. It'll start peeling off in no time, that's assuming it even sticks at all.
