Our third Camaro in the family

I was the proud owner of two just like these and now my son is going to carry on the family tradition with his new 2010 camaro..I'm so jealous...lol
I so excited about his car you'd think it was going to be mine..LOL

My son got in my 86 model when he was about 10.I had no idea he even knew how to drive.His dad had been teaching him.I was picking him up at his grandmothers house one day and he ran out and got in my car and took off burning rubber.He drove down around his daddy's shop.Me and his grandmother just stood there with our jaws on the ground.That kid came back with a big ole grin on his face..I told him when he gets his car it's payback time...LOL!!!

I've been lucky enough to sit in one of the new ones at our local dealership.I about melted when I saw it..lol Bright yellow.It looked like a big toy sitting there.I was afraid to even touch it.Camaro's are the best!!

Wait make that our fifth camaro in the family.I forgot about the two race cars.My son had a camaro dirt racecar before he even had a drivers license.He bought another one a couple of months ago.We have been blessed with camaros..lol They'er in our blood one might say..lol

This is our third currently and 4th total. I had a 84 berlinetta in High School.

It is in 1000 pieces now in my basement. Working on a full ground up resto. Maybe by the time my kids drive it will be done... (PS... I HAVE NO KIDS!)

In some ways I wish I still had my three previous Camaros. I just don't think that would work financially or practically given the lack of parking places at my current house.

That and the green one was totaled...

In order of purchase, 1997 Camaro - Polo Green Metallic, 1967 RS/SS (Clone) - Red with White Bumblebee stripe, 2000 Camaro with T-Tops - Light Pewter Metallic, 2010 2SS/RS - Aqua Blue Metallic (with black hockey stick striping soon).

Do you still have the 67? I love 67s! I am curious to see the h/h stripes on the ABM. I am a HUGE h/h stripe fan. I also love that they are not that popular.

Don't have the '67 anymore. I actually only drove it for three months since the title never came through and I left for college. We just gave it back and got a refund.

Also, I'm not putting the center stripe on my 2010. Just the hockey sticks...

We are also a Camaro family! My dad's first new car was a Golden Brown 1972 Camaro, purchased in the fall of 1971 before the line was shut down for the strike that stopped all 1972 F-body production. He sold it in 1981 with over 130,000 on it. His next Camaro was a red 1994 Z28 bought new in the summer of 1994. He still has it and it currently has about 95,000 milles. I have a yellow (non-original color) 1971 Z28 RS and a 1997 30th Anniversary Z28. Each has over 125,000 miles on them. I am planning on purchasing a new Inferno Orange Metallic 2010 or 2011 Camaro 1LT RS with white rally stripes in the near future when funds become available.

I may be buying back the 72 LT1 Z28 I had when I was 18,If he will sell it back to me.My 86 is long gone.

Nice variety you got man I wished I would have kept my past three Camaro's
