Idiot dealer

I took my car into the dealer to get its rear tires changed. So after I got into an argument with the manager on why it took 4 hours to change 2 tires he went to check on my car. He came back with this smirk on his face and said its done, he reved my car to 4500 and I told dont ever do that again. Now I look at my rim and they put 19 wheel weights in one place. My car wobbles now, and I think they did this on purpose. My other tire has only 5 weights. How much weight usually goes onto a wheel to balance, I know its diffrent on all cars but what is the average on the SS/RS.

Ask the manager who their zone rep is. Talk to them, and explain why this is an issue and see if they can recommend a better dealer for you to go to.

My first and only question, why would you get any work other then warranty work done at a stealership?

Can anyone explain wheel weights to me? As in, what should I look for and know something is fishy vs. legit ?

first i dont understand why OP needs tires on a 2014. second, why the dealer? third why it takes 4 hours, why he waited over an hour before saying anything? fourth, the purpose of racing the engine? this whole situation seems odd to say the least.

Is this like when you don't want to send your food back at a restaurant because you are afraid they may spit in it? You complain about the excess time to change a couple tires and then the rev your engine and put too many weights on and cause them tire to be out of balance. What is wrong with this world? Now I need to learn to change my own tires.

Can you post a picture showing the 19 wheel weights on the one wheel? The picture alone should be all you need to get some response from the district manager. That is absurd.

Well hell it would take me 4 hours to put 19 weights on one rim also... LMFAO! Douche bag dealers don't have know business doing tire changes. I take them out of the loop as soon as I drive off there lot unless of course it's a engine warranty issue.

19 weights?? As in individual weights? Or 19g of weights? 4 hours to change 2 tires is absurd. You witnessed them reving your engine to 4500? Im curious to know how you saw them do this. Not trying to say your BSing us but we need more info.
