Is it possible for exhaust to get quiter??

I've had my MRT V1.0 on my car since Monday I believe. I don't know if it's me getting used to them or what but they do not seem to be as aggressive sounding as at first. Is this just me??

Likely your getting use to them. I, along with multiple posters here have stated the same thing about NPP exhaust. Thought it sounded awesome and pretty loud at first. But after a couple weeks many of us get use to it sound, and want more.

After "break in" so to speak, the muffs usually get a lil smoother sounding and you are gettung used to it.

There is a minor soot buildup that can absorb sound, but it's very minimal. I'm leaning towards you're just getting used to it.

Me too, but the "soot buildup" is significantly more on a LFX V6. For some reason, they are a good bit dirtier than the LLTs or V8s.

You're just getting used to it, Idk if there's a reverse effect from v6 and v8 but I feel as though carbon build up has made mine louder
