How to contact GM Canada warranty issue
Recently took my auto to dealership on a transmission issue. Transmission still under warranty. Dealership excellent but appears their hands are tied on this warranty issue.
Fast story: When car was new dealership replaced TCM under warranty. Years later transmission issues continued. Last week, while transmission still covered by warranty, TCM part still fine, but since TCM was replaced GM issued a soft ware update to help with my A6 shifting issues. So last week dealership downloaded newer A6 software that did improve low gear shifts. Even though transmission still under warranty, even though this is a repeat issue to dealership to resolve A6 low gear Flare in lower gears, I am being charged for the newest Software upload. Told warranty covers replacement parts like the TCM but not current software that helps resolve low gear flair. Seriously, I do not think I should have to pay for a software upgrade for a continuing issue with my transmission and trans still under warranty. Anyone know how to contact GM Canada so I can file a complaint? |
