OEM Gauge Pack
Hi,
Just got my 15 Z today and I was considering adding the GM center console gauge pack. So first I wanted to ask if anyone had done this and what installation is involved specifically to the Z28? I found a couple of outdated threads relevant to other base Camaros but I'm not sure if the setup is the sam, plus all the pics have been removed from them. And also if you happen to know the part number? I checked on the Chevy accessory site but the PN seems to be wrong cause it corresponds to some sort of engine cover. I also found this other version of the accessory site but there's multiple PNs. http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com/Che...applechevy.com Thanks. |

I doubt anyone has done it, honestly the gauges are not in the best place and you'd probably be better off getting some custom gauges on the driver's side A-pillar housing, and I do not know if everything for the SS gauge pack is the same for the Z28. |

Thanks TTC ... as far as doing something better, I'm trying to keep the car looking OEM and not tear into my A pillar in a way that I can't easily reverse, hence why this seemed like the most logical approach.

Recently, someone posted a link to a company that lets you access any of the data streaming over OBDII -- and output it on either digital display (center dash or on the radio display). Maybe that would give you what you're looking for?

I would think replacing an A pillar would be a lot easier and cheaper way to go. That piece of trim can't cost more than $10 at a junkyard. I like having gauges where I can see them easily. Those console gauges are in an awful spot.

Its the same as any M6 V8 for the gauge pack, and the harness is one that we made and you know where to get.
