I don't have that particular kit, but you will need to remove the front facia.
Then pull the headlight assemblies out and replace the stock LED with the RGB LED. These LEDs can be tricky to replace but you won't have to bake open your headlights Installation looks intimidating at first, but really not that hard to do. |

I bought this kit and installed it a few weeks ago. I love the way it works and looks. You will need to remove the front fascia and the headlights those are not that difficult to remove. I tried removing the LED without baking the lights but those 4 little torx screws are a pain to get out. It can be done I know someone who did it but I gave up and baked the lights and its way easier to remove the LED that way.
The rest of the install is not that hard I ran the wire through the firewall on the drivers side there is a rubber plug there you can pop out near where the battery cable goes through. You can't really see it but if you get your hand in there you can feel it. Then you just need a place to hide the controller I hid mine behind the center console but you can pick anyplace you like. If you get stuck on any of the wiring give Ofer a call and he will explain it to you. He had me on my way in 10 minutes. I think you will be happy with the results I have bought several things from Gen5diy and I have been very satisfied with everything. Great vendor to deal with and you can't beat the price on this kit.

you need to read around a bit and see which option would be the best for you. nightowl is by far the best, but also the most expensive. you have to remove the fascia to remove the headlights, so if youre talking about the torx screws on the wheel well those are fairly easily especially with wheels removed. i did not read all the replies, so I'm guessing you're talking more about changing the LED on the headlight, which is not very difficult. |

It can be tedious, I'll give people that. If you can remain calm, it's not horrible.
