My engine shut off in some tight s turns at speed coming down Old Marcos Pass in Goleta Ca. Bull shit. I had more than a quarter tank of gas. The turns were tight and one right after the other going down hill about 4 or 5 or so. Had it shut off a turn eariler I could have been in some trouble, running with traction and stability control off.. I understand there might not have been enough gas, sloshing around from side to side.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Mine today shut off while I was turning around in a circle. Full tank of 93. I couldnt get it to do it again.

Just a W.A.G. as I'm not really sure, but could it possibly been due to oil starvation? As in the oil was sloshed away from the pick up and the oil pressure dropped enough that the ECM shut off fuel?

My car shut off again going around a turn at about 30mph with a half tank of gas. WTF!? Things barley got 10k miles on it.
