Our car will shrink for the 2016 model year

This past Friday, the UK based online magazine AUTOEXPRESS published a report on the upcoming CAMARO.

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/chevrol...rce=newsletter

Alongside the spy photos of the test cars in full camo, there was a CGI rendition of how the new car will look right next to a current CAMARO model.

While I'm glad the current shape of our car (which pays homage to the '69 model) has been honored and greatly influenced the new design, I totally regret the downsizing of its proportions.

Clearly, the 2015 is much shorter. I've read in USA TODAY (electronic edition - article by James R. Healey) three days ago that it will be based in the ATS platform, hence the shorter size.

Also, I'm not convinced the "reshaping" look so nice in the end.

I did not found any previous entry on this subject so I'm posting this one. If it was previously addressed then I apologize for the tautology.

¿What do you think about the new shape & size?

Safe driving,

Don't mind shrinkage, but if they are going to go with that Miata of a design (which we can't speculate) then I'd prefer big and bold.

Holy shit, the side windows can't go down!!!!

It's not an official rendering.

I hope they made the trunk bigger then. I use the backseat to put everything now. New owners will be traveling light.

Since it is on the ATS chassis it is supposedly smaller than the current Mustang. Along with the downsized car expect to see a downsized turbocharged engine offered like the ATS.

Though I love my 2014, I really like this render of the 6th gen. It looks smaller, but mean. The taillights too, look nice. They are very slanted, and add to the aggressive look from the side. Idk what else to say... I like it

No fake grills on the side anymore either it looks like. I really can't see the car getting any smaller. It's tight enough.

This is just a rendered speculation that I first saw on TopSpeed.com.

THIS IS PURE SPECULATION.

easy guys, this is all speculation. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in a computer rendered picture based on a spy shot of a completely camouflaged car.

The CTS is also on the ATS platform so doubt that means camaro will be same size as ATS
