Headers Installed, YAY!

Well, I would like to say it was easy, but it wasn't(at least by yourself and on your back). Anywho, here's a clip of the Kooks headers/highflow cats and Flowmaster force II axle back. And anyone who says the Force II's are barely above stock, well your right, but with the headers and high flows it's perfect. No drone and they are only alive when your on the pedal.

Here's some tips for the solo install:
1) Zip tie the gasket to the header before you slide them up from the bottom. Support bottom of header with a jack stand.
2) Don't need to completely separate steering shaft, just move it back about an inch.
3) Mark oil dipstick location on insertion point with a sharpie. Piece of cake to locate during reassembly.
4) Remove O2 plug on rear drivers side from transmission before attempting to unplug the mail connector half

I always admire guys/gals who do these types of mods with only a jack and safety stands , great job.

Tip for the gasket. Clip the two outside bolt holes at the bottom of the hole. (So only half that bolt hole remains.) Slide up header. Start 2 outside bolts to hold it in place. Now slip in the gasket while the header is just hanging on the two bolts. Less chance of damaging the gasket while installing the header.

That doesn't work with gm gaskets.. They are aluminum not rubber so when you clip them they bend.
