I am thinking about buying the complete 1LE 3.91 diff at dealer for around $1500 so my I can save my original diff. My question is will the original axles from my SS fit the diff for a 1LE? I have a 2014 2SS/RS A6.

stock axles fit into 1LE diff just can't use 1LE axles out sides are same as zl1
