COPO style hood
Spoke with eric at mpd1 about his two copo style hoods. Anyone with these have thoughts on cai hood vs non cai hood? I'm thinking its better to have hot air coming out than more air pushing to cai but maybe I'm wrong?

Seeing that you live in Texas I would think our COPO style would be best for you. Our cowl induction hood will feed cooler air to your intake but your real hp gains are from the CAI itself. Since both these hoods are the same externally it's up to you. I prefer the clean slick underside of our COPO style hood not to mention its a little cheaper

I am thinking I might go with the actual COPO and not the cowl. I thought the cowl induction would work great with CAI inc CAI, ported intake, LPE heads, cam, etc but thinking I am better off going with just getting the heat out from under the hood. What are your thoughts on one or the other with my mods and the heat?
Will the cowl induction provide both cooler air an let hot air out? |

Being in Florida, I would suggest just getting the heat out. |
