Non-RS DRL operation

Quick question. On the 2010-2013 non-RS headlights with the headlights themselves acting as the DRL, does the headlight (DRL operation) go off when you turn your headlight control knob to the Parking Light position?

Yes. When you turn it to that position all you get is the parking lights. If you turn to the left they go off also without any lights being on. At least that's what I assume you're asking.

Yes, that was what I was asking. Thank you.

Also...Does anyone know if there is any current monitoring of the non-RS head light circuits? In other words, if a bulb has failed or is disconnected, is there any notification on the driver information center that a headlight is out, similar to how the turns and tails are monitored?

Negative. I have a non-RS car with our RS harness and there is no connection at all to the low-beam circuit.
