I went through almost the exact same thing when I got my Camaro. 2014 Camaro 2SS non-RS. I don't remember the part number from GM off the top of my head but Gen5DIY has them for $1625 brand new which is pretty good. I bought my almost a year ago with a hook up and still payed $2400 for everything. Other thing you will need is the wire harness from Gen5DIY which is another $250. Everything is simple plug and play. Rs headlights fit directly into the bumper even tho the grill is different on the RS and non-RS. I have no problems with anything and everything worked out easy. Literally everyone I talked to in person said the lights will not work/wont fit/will burn the ecu/other bs. Even the dealerships didnt want to sell me the lights because they said it wouldnt work or would break my car and void my warranty but they were all wrong.

I don't think they will just swap out, you will need adapters for the wiring too.
