and what is it with the shoes in these reports? Every time there is a news report of a car accident, shooting, jogger ran over, etc., there is always a shoe for the cameraman to zoom into. Is anyone on here a reporter or know one who can answer this? What if a shoe doesn't get knocked off? Do news teams carry extra shoes to throw out there just in case? Sorry, this has always driven me nuts.
