Emission legal yes, but I believe TX has a no muffler delete law and the loudmouth one is just that, no muffler/straight pipes.

The Loudmouth I is the muffler delete, while the LoudMouth II is a much smaller replacement set of mufflers that sound real goooood !! It took me about 2 hours to install them myself. Getting the 4" exhaust tips perfectly aligned was painstaking slow (for me)......but worth the effort.

Try the Jeidi Mind trick.

" The new 2010 camaro has an inline muffler/resonator with two, count them, two catalytic convertors which is more than the law abides for. Now, let me pass."

I did the SLP 1, muffler delete. It's nothing compared to my Harley ( Straight pipes ), and many of my friends who have headers, NO cats. and no mufflers, and they still pass.

Just keep in mind that some states (like Virginia) have non-emmission related codes prohibiting straight pipes for noise reasons. I ordered and have the SLP LM II's on hand but I'm going to wait until after I get the Virginia inspection done (the car is still on 30 PA Tags) to install the exhaust just in case I get a really strict inspector.

They are emissions legal, not noise legal. Most states you can be cited for it since you are deleting the muffler.

I'll let you know. I am going to plan to take a video too. I have my SLP LM II (bought from LMP) sitting in the garage. I think I'm going to play it safe and get the VA State inspection done beforehand. I've heard it should only take about 4hours. You'll need a reciprocating saw to cut off the old mufflers, jack/jack stands (or a lift) and basic tools from there to bolt it on.

I installed the loudmouth I in my garage. No need for jackstands the car sits high enough. Took maybe an hour to do the install and fine tune the tip placement. Very easy install.
