DIY removing the cloth from door panels?
Does anyboby remember the link to the DIY for removing the cloth on the 1SS door panels to prepare them for paint?

Don't remember where it is, but I did the dash trim and all I did was pull out the staples and pull the cloth off. I then removed the residual adhesive from the plastic with mineral spirits and sprayed it with duplicolor color and clear.

To add to what was previously stated, after the mineral spirits I used fine grit size to get rid of all the glue, then used primer, paint, and a clear coat.

I did it, and it was very simple. Pry the panel off, remove staples, cleaned the glue and residue with GOOF OFF, one coat of primer and 2 coats of paint.
