Cabin temp high enough to poach a salmon
Damn. Started car up at lunch... heater blower came on full, and I could not turn it down. Could not adjust the heater speed, temp, turn on rear defrost - nuthin. Full speed. Stopped and started car, etc etc.. said screw it and drove across the city in the direction of my house. Dealer I bought it from is on the way - an hour to cross the city in a snow fall.. with my window down because it was too effin hot in the car !
Get to the shop - car just oozing heat. Service manager comes over - gets near the downed window and steps back.. damn that's hot ! Yea,, I know. Loaner. Sucks. On the way there I called the parts department to see if they had the heater control board or whole unit.. no stock he says. My guess is they have the car a couple days. At least now I wont have to remember to take it in for a check because sometimes the blower control wont work if I shut it off.. I always leave it at lowest speed. Two birds with one stone. Lol.
