Hope no one was considering ordering a 5THGEN. Ordering has closed whatever is left on the Lots is whats available.

They must have enough orders to build thru November. I thought I saw where the last car off the line was in November.

I thought there was always overlap where if you didn't like the new one you could still order the last year... there has to be a ton of people waiting for the unveil so they know whether to order a 5th gen or wait for the 6th.

Let's say theres 28000 unsold units sitting on lots (Cars.com shows 26,800-2015s, 1650-2014s, and 110-2013s) there should be enough inventory to serve buyers for quite some time.
Be looking for some nice discounts in the future.

When I worked at a GM assembly plant the last car of the year was around the middle of July. Then down 2 weeks for change over then the start of the new model year. This was 11 years ago so things may have changed since then.

This weird of GM. Usually the will unveil the new model if Feb. They would start limited production in April so the can have the new models on in the show rooms in August for the start of the new year. They may have started building the new model.

I highly doubt this because it would make it so much harder to keep the wraps on the 6th gen before reveal they would have to find some heavily guarded warehouse to put these cars if they have already started production instead of the long warehouse like yards they put them in now after production.
