How hard is it to remove the heat extractor from the hood?

There are 8 nuts under the hood you will have to take off to get the carbon fiber piece off. You will have to have a rubber hammer to tap easy on the studs to kind off loosen up the piece then you can just lift it up from the hood. Just did mine tuesday because the car I bought did not have the exposed fiber carbon on it and the dealer told me it did and he got one for me to put on.I had to give him the piece that was on the car back.Took about 30 minutes to do it.

Okay folks need your help again. I removed the eight bolts holding the extractor on and rubber hammered them loose. My problem is they seem to be stuck on with an adhesive also. I tried to gently pull but was afraid of damage. What could I do to get these off now without any damage? Thanks VNVET

maybe squirt some "goo gone" under the gap and apply a little heat via a blow dryer.
