To stripe or not to stripe.....
That is the question that my husband and I are asking ourselves. We've ordered a SIM 2LT RS and cannot decide on the stripes. We ordered on 8/6 and don't have a TPW yet.

LOL...I have been seriously fighting this battle for 3 months. I finally sucked it up and traded for the flat black stripes...put them on, and didn't like them as much as I thought I would so I ripped them off. Now I'm thisclose to calling my dealer tomorrow to give them the go ahead to order cyber gray stripes for me. If I order those, I have to stick with them or lose money. I didn't lose anything on the black stripes.
Help! |

Black.
Our first thought was no but the more pics hubby sees the more he likes them. I'm still on the fence.

Is the one in the picture yours? We like the "fang" looking stripes. Did you get those from the dealer or somewhere else?

I know you can order them on http://www.ridergraphix.com for relatively cheap. Apparently great quality though.

I dropped off my SIM today at a shop to have them painted , if u can afford it get them painted any color or way u want , why settle for the same old boring black or gray as all the rest , no offense to anyone just an opinion , the selection of vinyl is really lame , the cars 30000 why not spend another 1300 and get something outstanding and exactly what you want

Go to the tracing thread and have The Viz look it up. Once you get past 1100, you are looking at about 6 weeks. I love my stripes and I alos love the fact that not too many people have the hood and hockey stripes. Sorry for the dealership shots... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Would these be the "fang" stripes you are refering to? Hood and hockey stick is the name of them. |

If you are unsure about the racing stripes, i think you should go with the COWL (fang lol) stripes that you can order from ridergraphix.com
Here is a pic of mine

Can't answer that...only you can.
Consider this; the 2010 Camaro has a strong style connection to it past heritage, ie, 1969. At the same time it is all new and fresh for 2010. If you like the historic connection, you should to add the Rally stripes. If you prefer the new look, go clean. Either way, you can't go wrong. Me, I am an old schol Camaro guy, used to race 'em "back in the day". I will difinately go with the stripes to retain that 60s connection. But, I will have my stripes painted on. Alfie

I chose not to go with stripes myself because I thought the RJT looked fine without but if you do go with stripes I would suggest having them painted. I think painted stripes look much better than the vinyls from GM IMHO. I would also think about gloss rather than flat for your SIM.
