another Vitesse Motorsports throttle controller appreciation thread
Finally bit the bullet and bought one of these after hearing all of the hype on them. Installed it in less than 10 minutes in the freezing cold, programming and all. The programming was a cinch, and i found the best mounting spot for the controller to be on the panel right by my right leg. I notched the panel to let the cable fit through comfortably, and then stuck it on and ran the wire. i managed to tuck the control box under my 4-gauge pack, but i may relocate it since the gauges sit a little more pushed up.
Anyways, after i did the calibration, I went for a test drive. All i can say is that even on SP3, I had a wide-ass grin glued on my face. It really wakes up the throttle on the car and for us M6 guys, the throttle lag is virtually gone, so you have more control over how much gas you're giving it. Long story short, if you're on the fence like i was, and you kept reading "get it" but you were still hesitant, don't hesitate. Buy it and get the response these cars should have came with from the factory.

Glad to hear because I myself was one of those guys on the fence about getting one. Now it's next on my list
One quick question was the cable that goes from the controller to the pedal pretty easy to hide? |

I usually see other people on this forum have their vitesse throttle controller set at 5 or less. I have mine at 7, but I could easily go to 9 if I wanted to. Others have said if they go that high their tires break loose, my tires will break loose, but nothing uncontrollable, and not that often too. Some of my mods are in my signature, am I not getting the RWHP as others have? My tires aren't anything special either. Have not dynoed it yet and its an L99. But it is a great investment! Thanks.

wasnt too bad. i hid the control box under my 4-pack gauges, so i ran the cable straight to there and didn't have any issues hiding any wire. hell i barely even needed to. overall the install was seamless

We have yet to have a customer that wasn't happy with it. They are a great upgrade.

the best way i can put it, you have to pedal a lot less to get a lot more power, pending which setting you chose. definitely eliminates all throttle lag though, which is great for launching and all around driving

That's exactly what I'm missing. With the controller is there any need to still port the tb? |

Is this a mod done without a tune change? I'm curious since I am running a tune ECM, if this is any help.

I was tuned before i got this for stock throttle, so i don't believe so. i dont think you need a tune because the throttle controller just alters the signal that the pedal sends to the ECM

That should be the 1st mod on everyone list, installed yesterday, this thing is a beast, it's like a different car, best money I spent so far, and very easy to install.
