Throttle controller / throttle body?

What are the differences, and can both be installed for the ultimate throttle response?

From what I gathering and the stuff I've looked up it looks like they are two different pieces and can both be installed together, but both work for the same goal.

I'm also gathering you can have a hp/tq increase with the throttle body, ranging from 5-10 on both sides. How true is that one? For 150 bucks, a gain of 10hp sounds decent.

Has anyone actually installed either or both of these little guys into your camaros?

Please let me know!!

The VTC is great, no real HP change but it sure feels like a increase. Easy install and a great mod. You will love it. Message me if you have questions about it.

I have both (VTC and VMaxx)

The ported TB allows a better flow of air, the VTC controls the speed of the throttle blade.

Some have reported small gains with the ported TB.

Both are great and EASY mods

I have both as well. As stated earlier, both are noticeable and very easy to install.

Awesome, thanks guys. I'm pretty excited to go pick them up. Do you guys notice a time difference as well? and if so, what's a decrease in time I could POSSIBLY expect.

I, too, have both the VMax PTB and the Vitesse Throttle Controller. As others have said, they work together for a common goal... better throttle response. I don't race my car so I can't say about the time improvements, but my butt dyno loves the change from stock.

I had gotten my car tuned with headers and such and then I installed a VMAX PTB within the next day or two and went back a couple of months later and sat in the parking lot and got it tuned again. I went to the track that night and my best pass was over 2 tenths of a second better than my best pass previous without the ptb. It was colder that night also. Not sure if it's all dealing with the throttle body, or if he tuned something else as well, but the fact is that I gained over 2 tenths of a second.

The Vitesse both improves response and removes the TB's delay set by factory...The TB porting and modding will improve response only but the delay will remain. Same thing with tuning for better response, the delay will remain.

I have both the VTC and Bo's TB and you will feel a huge increase in throttle response just be ready for it. It will bring the car more to life.

I got a noticeable increase in throttle response from both, I installed the TB first and then the VTC about a year later.

I have the Vitesse Throttle Controller and huge change as far as throttle response. Highly recommend it. There is no way I could go back stock just wouldn't be the same anymore

I'm sure they helped but that "cold" weather most likely helped as well.
To someone who has installed both at different times. Which one gets best results? Real and butt? We know you get a few ponies out of the throttle body but amazing throttle response from the vtc. I know I noticed my vmax but wasn't blown away by it as some on here are saying about the vtc. Mine is on order for my cts and only hope I'm as thrilled as most are on here. ( just heard it will be about 10 days till mine comes in. Ordered last week. I hate waiting but
Hopefully worth it! Will let ya know how it works.

Hey guys I had both PTB and a Vitesse but I recently had a P1516 code pop up due to which the dealership replaced the TB. The rep from Vitesse mentioned that since my car is not tuned the stock tune might not allow that much of an extra air due to which it threw the code. Anyone out there with no tune and have both on with no issues? Also do you guys think it would be safe to put my PTB back on along with Vitesse?
