Best tuning tool for a shop?

Since you guys know a lot of stuff I´ll keep on asking questions (your fault).

I´m looking for something like the SCT units or even better, no hand held units at all, just a cable to the laptop. Need something that we can use for many cars and a big plus if it can handle boost, different MAP sensor and other mods.

Main cars will be Camaro and C6 but also nice if it would work on Mustang Coyote. Any ideas? E-mailed HP but still no reply after two weeks...

If you guys drop your car off for tuning, what´s the normal stuff companies use?

Can EFI do the same things? Looks like most people use HP.

HPT generally doesn't answer questions that can be answered by taking 5 min to search the web. This question (no offence) is pretty remedial. If you plan on tunning as a profession, then you need to ask the pros, there are more than a few on this site, talk to them, ask them why they like what they like. You'll find the list goes like this.

HPT 90%
EFI 50% most that use HPT can and do use EFI
SCT There are like two that swear by it. Quite a lot of people here on C5 use them....if your into that sort of toy.
then the rest falls after like diablo or Trifecta....

Good luck, there is a little learning curve but I think you'll love it.

I use EFI and HP about 50-50 depending on what computers are in the vehicle.

EFILive scanner is awesome and I think HP is more on top of support for new ecms.

My tuner uses EFI, and I have a handheld + the software on my computer, it seems pretty good, sorta user friendly. I haven't used anything else, so I cant compare, but I haven't had any problems with EFI

We have a tuner in our shop so that´s the easy part, just trying to get him the best tool for working magic.
