Anyone know the brake fluid capacity?

Trying to decide on which brake fluid to use in preparation for track. Does anyone know how much fluid is necessary for a complete flush and fill?

Just need to know since SRF comes in 1 liter bottles and is pricier than Motul 600 or 660 in half liter bottles. I am hoping 1 liter is enough but it seems every car I have had before needed a hair over 1 liter.

Well I think it took me 2.5-3 bottles of Motul 600 to flush out my 1LE system. The Z/28 capacity should be the same. I always prefer to have extra on hand anyhow in case I need to bleed the brakes before or during an event. So I know SRF isn't cheap but if it were me I would just order 2 or 3 bottles (since they are 1 Liter sizes) so I had extra on hand.

Thx. Just bought 2 L of Castrol SRF on Amazon for $63.50 each with free 2 day Prime shipping. Best price I've paid in 10 years.

500ml x 2.5-3 gets it done for me. So, 1.5L is plenty.

Same for me. First time flush was with 3 bottles of 500 ml Motul. Now, before each event, I flush with a full bottle (500 ml) Motul. I have to refill the master cylinder after two wheels so master cylinder from low line to fill up is 250 ml. I don't let it get lower than that as you don't want air getting in lines from master cylinder (pain to flush).

Not sure you need SRF. I think it is better to flush frequently as there is some question of fluid contamination from the bell housing with clutch dust. To prevent clutch failure, it would seem flushing the fluid frequently should help so fluid longevity may not be that important.

Same here, 1.5 Castrol SRF flush before EVERY EVENT, with these weak ass clutch systems, anything to prolong the systems life is worth the effort.

Vacuum out the master 1st....do not pump all the debris in the reservoir through the system on a flush...

That's interesting, do you see debris in the master cylinder? My master usually looks pretty good. The fluid coming out of the caliper is indeed darker than in other cars I've tracked though I can't actually see particulate matter in it.
