Ground this down info from a sux2bu thread:
![]() But the tire rubs strut ![]() ![]() I think 5mm spacer might be enough just ordered it ![]() ![]() So there you have it. I've seen one other guy run the ZR1/Z06 fronts, JacFab, I don't know what tires he had up front. But for this combo, can get the wheel to work, but the tires I have rub the strut assembly. I will try 5mm spacer, and if that's still tight I'll go 8mm and pay $70 from that place that custom makes them. I ordered some for $33 with free shipping (5mm).

I'm going to put some painters tape on the strut after I try the spacer. As I'll have 2 5mm spacers, I'll try one and if it's still scuffing I'll look at doing 10mm but I think 5mm might be enough I didn't hear them rubbing.

Quit being a pu$$y

It would have been a lot easier to pull the pads out, put them in a vice and cut the weights off there. That way you wouldn't have nicked the calipers.
Did you get a weight on the wheels or tires?

Yeah I'd like to powdercoat the calipers anyway, maybe this will push me.
I can go outside and weigh a wheel + tire, brb.

Posted in the Free Wheel Offsets thread. Those are going to look slick once you get them on there.

Thanks, they are tasty:
![]() Jason, the spacers: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231018011293...84.m1439.l2649 I don't understand the toe out adjustment you said, never done that before. To answer your question, the tire and rim are not perfectly flush I can measure if you like. But the tire is not mega wider.

Ughhh John. You know your business partner happens to be very good at Camaro offsets and information, right?
Friends don't let friends hack their cars up or run spacers. I have failed you. Tony

I like how the ZR1 wheels look but running a little spacer was not my plan. We'll see how this goes.

So no spacers needed for the rear then? I smell my possible rear drag setup...where did you get them?(sorry if I missed it)

No spacer in back, but you have to tie back the e-brake cable or it might rub on the edge of the wheel.

27-30 range would have been a better front offset. You'll likely need a 10mm spacer to make them not look silly and tucked too far into the car.
