fed up with showstopper

anybody else order showstopper side markers that took a long time to get ? they say 3-4 weeks for delivery, its been 6 and a half since i ordered mine and was charged. every time i email them they say shouldn't be much longer, been like that for 3 weeks. I only ordered them based on the fact of where the leds were placed, should've just ordered the oracles

I'm having the exact same problem.. Kind of wanting to cancel my order at this point. I've been waiting for 5 weeks now. We've been patient long enough, don't you think?

Hate to hear of the issue. I love my Showstopper side markers. So much better quality than AAC. Hang in there.

Trust me they are worth the wait. I think I waited 6-8 weeks for mine, but it was a group buy thing so I figured that was why. The AAC quality is way lower, lots of broken tabs and dead LEDs. You'll love them just hold on a bit longer, the guy's nice and I don't think has any bad reviews. Nothing but good experiences

I got the ACC and no issues with them at all. I think they fixed the tab issue not sure mine are just fine and the car looks great with them No burned out LED so far and it's been awhile

Maybe their quality has gone up since I ordered mine. They never could get me a set that looked good. Poor paint quality with lots of trash in it and LEDs that were t lined up. I gave them three opportunities. Haven't ordered anything from them since.

I think only one of my AAC sidemarkers hasn't broken it's tab yet. It's a good product but with cheap plastic tabs on the back. Was hoping someone I knew would get a 3D printer so I could trim off the whole back of it and remake new pieces with stronger plastic but that has yet to happen. If someone wants to undertake that project for me I would appreciate that and others prob would as well.

maybe not all have issues, but I've never seen a single problem with showstopper. also saw someone complained about bubbly paint and was told "nobody is going to be looking at these with a magnifying glass"

he posted pictures (w/o magnifying glass of course) and they looked pretty bad. I'm sure some are good, but a lot are not.

and both are a long wait

My ride is showstopper from top to bottom...Pete is a great guy and does wonderful work... Stay the course and send him a PM...he will make it right. I image the garage is full this time of year.

Agreed. I waited 6 weeks. He doesn't use aftermarket parts on these. They use OEM sidemarkers that others have traded in to get $100 core charge refund. Also, once they are painted he lets them set for a few days before packaging and sending. The wait is long because everybody wants Pete !!!! Also, I did not like the position of the LED light on the ACCs. I preferred where the light was positioned on the Showstopper Brand.
