help me on getting my rims - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

hey guys, i've decided to get some 22" rims. My friend in Boca Raton has 22" inch rims on his 2ss and it looks great. He stated that its a lighter combination compared to stock.

Attached are the pics of my car, and the status rim that i was thinking about getting. If there is a better combo for me, please feel free to tell me.

not bad.. with the 2tone rims/ inerior. you might want to think about getting the two orange stripes dwn the car, to really set if off...

Sorry, but I find those painted wheels quite awful in styling. I'd go with something more performance-inspired on a performance car. If you are interested in my help, shoot me an email and I can get you something much more fitting to the car. It can have orange in it too, but more tastefully done.

I really dislike painted rims. Just my preference.

my inferno orange stripes is in back order. I don't know if that's true, but that's what my dealer stated. My ground effects package was also in back order, but i just received it last week and have an appt. for this coming Monday to install it. If there is a better rim package, please PM me or submit a picture or link.

nice rims bro how much are they. NICE! its going to killer on you car color combo. get your stripes painted/ looks 80000000000000 times better.

Keep in mind with that particular orange on a black car, that can real easily slip into looking like a trick or treat Munster special. Perhaps a thinner stripe around the rim might help. Less can be more with this car.

dont go with forgatios, they are way too expensive

I have the exact same color scheme on my car with no stripes yet. I'm going for more subtle stripes once I finally decide just to keep the orange as an accent. I'd like to see those rims on your car though, post some pics when you decide. BTW, I'd get rid of that dealer decal on the back, it totally ruins the rear end.

i seen one on ebay for around 1200, but i asked the seller if it was for one or all 4 and i got no response. i will be looking into painting my stripes. can the dealer do this instead of waiting on the stripes?
