Belt Adjustment

Where is the adjustment to tighten the alternator belt on a ZL1? There is no belt tensioner like there is on the supercharger belt.

Of course there is a tensioner. There is no adjustment.

How is the pressure released from this pulley? There is no place to put a 1/2 or 3/8 breaker bar at to release the pressure from the belt.

Put a socket on the nut...rotate toward the engine..use a good size wrench it can be hard to pull

use that pulley's 15mm bolt and move it slightly to release belt tension. Then, pull the belt away from the water pump's smooth pulley and release the wrench carefully.

You don't even need a socket, but your ratchet in the square that's there above where it says rotate. That is what it's for...
