Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid
I need an opinion from the community.
When I had the CF zl1 spoiler installed the 3rd brake light wasnt properly segured and it was moving around 2 weeks later. Being that I was at a diesel mechanic shop, I had one of my "professionals" reinstall it. When I went to go look at the job finished. I noticed he had pryed off the CF spoiler on the passenger side making 2 dents about an inch long on the trunk lid. When I asked him what had happened he said there was some king of glue holding the spoiler (from the first time it was installed.) I took it to a paint shop to see if it was repairable, they told me that considering the location of the dents, they had to do the whole trunk lid and repaint it to match the car again. Instead of wasting what will probably be 200-300 dllrs. Anybody have any experience or pictures of the carbon fiber trunk lid? Maybe I can use this excuse and upgrade the car. Opinions?

If you are spending the money on a repair what not opt for the CF trunk lid instead?
BTW what is color is "Victoey Red" J/K. Is it an intentional mispelling in your signature or should it be "Victory Red"? Good luck with either course of action you decide.
