Engine Cover
Please Vote....
I was curious how many ZL1 owners have the engine cover on or off. Is their much of a benefit for a cooler running motor?

If your zl1 has been modded like pullies/tune you should definitely keep it off. Also if you are tracking the car to help dissapate heat from engine bay.

I painted mine blue, with heat resistant paint as I didn't like the stock red with a dark blue car.

Good thread. Since I live in FL, I'm thinking at least in the summer (haha, like 9 months out of the year here) I'll have to remove mine.

When the cover is off, the engine compartment looks awfully cluttered with all the exposed plumbing so mine stays on.
