TPMS sensors
Can anyone confirm if these are model year specific? Switched out my 2014 LT oem 18's with winter tires to oem 20's from my 2010 RS that i kept. Went through the "learning tires" routine but still have the error code and idiot light. It will be a pita if I need to buy new sens ors.
update....dug deeper and realize i need by buy a relearn tool or dealer visit. Too bad Washington decided we cant keep tires properly inflated. Last edited by Timbo10835; 03-05-2016 at 05:27 PM. |

Try a local tire shop before shelling out money. They may relearn your sensors for little or no charge. Only takes a minute.

Thanks. It goes to the tire shop Tues for a full set of General G-Max AS-03 tires. Hopefully they can do it.

Any tireshop will have the the TPMS relearn tool. Its a shame GM got rid of the psi pressure change to relearn the sensors.

on reinstall of summer tires at first they did not register, then they did without doing anything. If you did not put them back in the correct corner then you will have to relearn.
