Question about zex nitrous on my car

I have a 2010 camaro ss ls3 and I have long tube headers, full exhaust, and a CAI. I had it custom tuned by ted janetty. I was looking at getting the zex nitrous system for my car. Would it still be "safe" to run on my car even though it's custom tuned? I read somewhere that you can not use the nitrous safely if you have a custom tune. Thank you.

You have to pull 2 degrees of timing for every 50HP. If you create a way to do that with the current tune and accommodate for additional fuel requirements and run colder plugs, it should not matter who tuned your car.
