Has anyone plastidipped gill stripes?

hey guess so I haven't ordered my gill stripes yet, going to do it soon but I do have some plasti dip laying around and thought maybe you can plastidip the stripes on the gills? Anyone does this yet?

In that application I can't imagine the Plasti Dip lasting very long. Nothing to really adhere to and every time you wash your car you will be applying pressure to the edge of the dip causing it to peel. I think it would take you longer to mask the stripe than they would stay on.

I sprayed the bottom and around the back of my car with plati dip for the Fest this year, to help with rock chips. After driving in the rain and raicing the dip started to roll off the sides of the car. You can see by the top of the gills. It would never last if you painted the gills.

I couldn't get a picture to attach, but if you go through the Camaro Fest pictures for drag racing on Saturday there are several in there. It is dark blue with white plasti dip on the bottom.

True they probably wouldnt last very long doing this lol guess Ill just wait till I get my decals!

I thought about that too but I went with decals. Then I loved them so much I had my shop paint them on! They look awesome!
