Gear head Question
I have a 2014 LS. A couple of months ago I put on an axle back exhaust and a high flow dry air filter. Since then at 55 to 75 it takes a long time for it to go into overdrive. If I want to set the cruise control at 70, I have to go past it let up on the gas wait for it to go into overdrive then set the cruise. It's really getting annoying. Do I need to change to a slightly lower gear? I only have 5400 miles on it. I'm pretty sure changing the rear gears would void my warranty. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes it does, most of the time it don't. It will stay there until I just barely ease off the gas. It didn't do this until I changed the exhaust and air filter. It doesn't go in and out of overdrive, once in overdrive it stays there unless I speed up or slowdown. Just wondering since the engine is breathing easier that the gears aren't matching like they used to?

well if you actually have a problem, it doesn't have anything to do with installing an axel-back exhaust and a CAI. AND to set the CC at any time or speed you should be able to do as any time.....if you can't and it won't go into OD....you have a problem with your transmission programing.
