Tire Recomendation
I recently bought the Phasetek replica ZL1 wheels for my SS. They are 9" wide in the front and 10" wide in the rear. I currently have the stock rubber stretched on them(245/45/20 front & 275/40/20 rear). I want to go wider front and back but smaller than a 305 in the back, tire choices seem kinda limited to street slicks in that size. What would be a good size combo? I'm thinking 265/40/20 in front and 295/40/20 in the rear. I'm also looking for brand recommendations. I know the P-zeros are popular but pricey. A staggered set seems to be tricky to find a brand/series that will fit!

Have you looked at Nitto and Mickey Thompson? Why not 275 front and 295 rears? Might find more combos.

I checked them out but im looking more for an all round summer tire rather than street slicks. I was looking at Toyo Proxes. Forgot to mention these are summer only tires.

Mickey Thompson has a street tire that looks nice, so does Falken. I have seen good deals on Toyo lately as well. Nitto has a nice street car line also in the NT 555 and the Invo.

I think they look ok with stock tires, but if your like me when it comes time for new tires you'll want em wider!

Are you lowered any?
Also, did your factory lug nuts fit? Or did you get different ones?

ZL1 sizes, offsets and Goodyear tires in 285 35 front and 305 35 rears. They totally changed the look and feel. New fronts are wider than the stock rears.

Mine are 20X10 and 20X11. But you can fit a 285 on a 9" I believe. A a 305 will fit on a 10". You just would not be able to run some 315's. Some you will but others not. Some are actually wider (I know it sounds strange) than others. I almost got the 20X9 and 20X10 set up, but at the last minute I grabbed these instead.
