Any reasonable shops.

Need help I am looking for a reasonable shop to add performance parts to my motor. Any good reputable shops that are on this forum that are very reputable and do good back up and guarantee their work. Show me the different packages from these sponsors thanks in advance

Why ask for reputable shops if you haven't answered the question on whether you want to keep a warranty or not..

Warranty is one of the prices you pay to go fast. ADM will treat you right and do an excellent job. I'm now 2-1/2yrs on mods and no problems.

I would steer clear of ADM. They will take your money alright I spent over 10,000 there. After your build there customer service sucks and difficult to get a hold of. I had a smaller type job needing done after my build associated with the engine and could never get in touch with them. Months later I finally got a response and it was refusal and wanting to out source me to another speed shop across town to do the work he could have easily done.
His only concern his the big money and nothing more. Customer comes last once finally complete

Hmm, I have been working with ADM for years on more than one car. I have seen Andy go through several personnel working with him in his shop. Since I live relatively close I have spent a few days in his shop while he was working on my cars. He gets a lot of calls while he is working and if he is elbows deep in a engine bay he does not typically stop to answer every phone call.

He is one of the best mechanics in the country but a lot of the time he is spread pretty thin. He does excellent work but has a lot of people demanding some of his time... like me.... He does not have a customer service rep that answers his phone and chronicles his messages. If you call and he does not answer, he is busy. Send him an email and you will get a response. He is better if you send him specific details in the email, what you want to know.

Something else I have noticed about Andy, and I suspect this may be the case with the follow up work you wanted him to do, Andy has tried a lot of things in the past and when a certain part or system gives him trouble he does not want anything to do with it. Yes he could do it, but for his reputation and quality of work, he does not have any desire to work with certain parts or systems that he believes will be more trouble than they are worth. He has told me several times that he does not want to follow up on one of my crazy ideas....

So I would say talk to him, if he is willing to do what you want done on your car, I can't think of a better place to take your car. If you just absolutely have to have meth injection, I can promise you Andy is not going to be your guy. But if Andy tunes your car you won't need meth injection.... Good luck to the OP.

Seems to me from your 1st response here that he referred you elsewhere for the work. He did work on your car before and he's made contact with you on this additional small job and for whatever reason (always 2 sides) he doesn't want your business anymore. Enough said right there. He's one of my 1st calls when I have questions and I've never had any work done there.

Any reasonable shops.

I don't have a problem with him referring elsewhere but what I do expect after paying 12,000 is the ability to answer emails and to provide better customer support. No explanation was ever given why unable to do

I'm sort of trying to explain this to you, He has Ryan working for him now but for quite some time he was literally running a one man shop. When you consider all the business he does that is quite a feat. He gets cars done as fast as anyone in the industry and hits the deadlines for his builds. His prices are competitive if not better than most of the competition. His automotive work is meticulous and his knowledge and experience are excellent. He does not have anyone that answers the phone or emails except him and frankly he prioritizes his time to the core of his business which is building cars.

At times I wish it was easier to talk to him about different things but I understand the situation and I'm willing to work with that. I suspect the original work he did on your car was satisfactory or he would have made it right. Truth is he can be a little hard to get in touch with at times.... after knowing him for a few years I just understand he is busy.

I have had a few people work on my cars over the years and as far as I'm concerned ADM is the best shop I have dealt with. I refer everyone that asks me to him and no one I know has ever been dissatisfied with his work.

I have talked to automotive vendors on the phone and I could drop some serious dimes here, that promise you a million and one things, their customer service is outstanding but when it is all said and done the work is flawed and the product they deliver is not what they promised, they will have a million and one excuses as to why things are late and you missed your race but bottom line is they don't deliver. You won't get that from ADM. If you have to have the best customer support in the industry, call some of the really big names. They have that... if you want quality work done on your car call ADM. I still believe this.

I hear ya but very frustrating when spending that amount of money and then asking for the intercooler reservoir to be moved in the engine bay. I even stated wasn't concern for the time frame or the cost of doing. I would more than compensate him for his time. My concern is having another shop work and relocate reservoir and then something happen. Now I have another shop working on my car and Adm could come back and say someone has messed with our original work. That was my concern. I realize the job is small but I only received one word answers when I finally posted something on Facebook about looking for another shop and that adm didn't want my money. I would have paid $500/hr just to have done at same shop. When I praised his shop on Facebook and told him I preferred his shop to do the work I got a one word answer "ok" I then asked if he would do the job and all he typed was another name of another shop in town. Pretty crappy if you ask me. I have referred dozens to his shop as well, but have a hard time doing that when brushed off the way it was handled.

ADM has done 3 builds for me and though only one was "perfect" he always worked me in quickly to get the "quirks" worked out. Two of the more involved builds he worked in over a weekend and I believe both of them were in Texas Mile season .. My next car will go straight to Andy as well.

How easy it for a shop to accommodate you? Are you wishy washy? Inflexible? Demanding? Really don't know what you want? Are you asking for work that a local repair shop can handle? All of these things dictate how quick or if someone can, wants or will respond to you.
