PID code for reading FlexFuel sensor
tl;dr version: What PID do I use on Torque Pro or OBDLink to display Ethanol pct from my DSX Flex Fuel sensor?
My first question to this forum, but hopefully I'm not the first person with this problem. On my 2010 Camaro SS LS3 I have a correctly installed (and tuned) DSX FlexFuel sensor on pin 40 and everything is working splendidly. I recently bought a OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Scanner and I've connected it to my android via bluetooth. Again, everything working splendidly using Torque Pro and OBDLink Problem is, I want to see my Ethanol percentage, which is the whole point of the FlexFuel sensor, and I can't see how to display it. TorquePro has an Ethanol % option to display but this is always zero, so I think that's for a built in sensor from the manufacturer. OBDLink doesn't have anything at all. Both will allow me to input a custom PID, but I've seen so many warnings about bricking the car I'm afraid to touch it without good advice--which I hope to get here.
