I'm pretty sure I'm in the running for worst situation on an attempt to purchase the Camaro! Here it goes..
Jan 10, 2009- My Loaded 96 RS (wheels, bolt ons, NOS, flake paint, etc) is burned by local Chicago "haters" (my 1st camaro was bombarded off of 3 semis exactly one year before)
Jan 11, 2009- Order 2010 Camaro w/ the frustration of my last 2 used camaros)
Jan 20, 2009- My 22nd Bday !! Also the day where dealership calls to tell me i just missed there first wave I am in the second batch now "you will recieve your car in fall possibly"
February 4, 2009- rizza chevy " we have 21 allocations come over order your camaro for the first batch!"
February 5, 2009- Grossinger we have bumped you to the first wave! Come on down you are preapproved no co signer needed
February 21, 2009- Grossinger dealer moves to new Chicago location never answers the phone never returns phone calls I go to the new place and my guy is there telling me I don't know what happened we still have no date for you
February 25, 2009- rizza chevy " we have two allocations left come on down first batch for you" I GO I PAY I WAIT AND GET A DATE!!
May 15, 2009-rizza your car should be here in a month
June 15, 2009- wheres my car I needed it for my movie !! (ME: HUGE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMER FAN COLLECTOR) Rizza: " another 2 weeks needed and it will PROBABLY BE HERE" ?!?!?!?
June 25, 2009- for the past week. Be been calling leaving messages and everything NICELY TOO! So I decide I'm going in tomorrow..
June 26, 2009- I stroll in stealthly.. WHAT DO YOU KNOW MY CAR IS ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR WITH 7500 adjustment in the window!!!!!
"Rizza: We were just going to call you! Let's talk money.. ........ Oh you don't have enough credit .. Go get a co signer we'll talk " ( I have 3000 in my pocket for my 2lt Rs)
June 27, 2009- co signer comes Rizza : not strong enough we can't do anything we'll give you 5 days AND THE CAR ISNT ON THE FLOOR ANYMORE ITS OUTSIDE !
June 30, 2009- another signer RIZZA: Car has been SOLD!
My buddy the porter told me the car was gone since 27th!!
AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CALL ME TO COLLECT MY DEPOSIT!!!!!
July 1st, 2009- grossnger calls me we have a camaro for u almost to to your liking itsone with a kit- I DRIVE AN HOUR TO THIS PLACE N I SWEAR TO GOSH the last corner I turn I see one drive away my thoughts bad ass car.. I go in the dealer n that's the one they were trying to sell me SOLD!!! SOME BUUULLLLLL!!!
NEXT DAYS CALLING EVERYONE THAT MIGHT HAVE MY CAR
2LT TRIPLE BLACK SUNROFF RS PACKAGE FULLY LOADED WITH POLISHED 20s
trust me i know a hard combo..
CALL 15+ dealers..

SO I DRIVE BACK THERE FRUSTRATED AS HELL AND TELL THEM YOU ARE NOT SELLING MY CAR !!!! I FIGHT FOR IT!!!!!!!!!! We agree.. I GIVE THEM $2000 Cash to hold it and in writing- $2000 CASH DEPOSIT WILL NOT SELL CAR ON DELIVERY FOR MONDAY
AND I LEAVE RELIEVED!

I NEED A BLESSING SOMEHOW KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS CAMARO FAMILY MEMBERS IM CROSSING MY FINGERS TO DRIVE AWAY TOMORROW.........:(

dude, your entire story is confusing. Sounds like you can't afford the car?

I don't see a problem with the story looks like a good story. I have to wait another 2 years man and your getting a car. You have a co-sign so that means your credit is weak.

If your getting in the car then you should have no complaints a little delay is not a big deal in your situation.

Crazyness I tell ya.. I can DEFINITELY AFFORD the car the straight out told me your credit is quite good actually its just that the biggest thing I ever loaned was 3000 (paid off at that) and I just dont have any concrete hard core solid credit no mortgages no car loans (I always preferred paying cash) and mind you I'm only 22 in the bureau for 4 years will not get me a 33k camaro so I have the co signer and honestly the only thing stopping me are these salesman mistakes and also wanting to sell the car for more! I'm getting it for msrp and im trying to do that quickly before that option becomes obsolete

you had to wait like everybody else. Sounds like you cant afford the car. You might want to check your finances before you put an order for a car.

generally the salesmen themselves are more ethical than the management. You must appear like a pushover to them by now. Screw them and go beyond local. they don't deserve your money or your time.
