I can't wait to drive my 2015 Z28. Still waiting for tires to arrive. I think my Z28 will hold a strong performance edge for years to come. I had considered a 2016 2SS instead. Glad I didn't wait.

When I first saw the 6th GEN I said I would rather have the Z/28.

I'm kinda a euro styling dork. I like the looks of the 2016, at least in pictures. Looks more 911 / M4 styled to me and I don't think that is bad. Opinions are like.....

Well I am about ready to sell my 1969 Z/28 so that someone else may enjoy it as much as I used to. I don't drive it much at all now that I've got the 2015 Z/28.

In 5 years I"ll still be driving/loving my 2015 I suspect. Hell, I've had the '69 for 42 years!

There were 20,302 Z/28s built for 1969 alone. Can you believe that? More than 10X the total '14-15 production.

Just throwing that out there...

Of course the first gen today is probably the most sought after for many reasons, but if im a buyer living in 1970, I would be all over trading my 69 Z/28 for a 70 Z/28 with the LT1. It was an around better performer.
You will note that the OP stated a 1971 model, not 1970

I really like the 6th GEN, just thought I might have buyers remorse wanting the new one after I picked up the Z. Now when they come out with the new Z and it's bigger and badder than this, then I might.

G6Flyer had a great point in another thread about how he tried the Gen 6 and still can't compare to the Z/28. There is no better comparison to the '14 & '15 Z/28 than the '67-'69 Z/28 due to what they can/could accomplish and what followed them, not to mention the limited build.

In 5 years, I'll still love my Z/28. How many will bail ship?
Call me crazy, but I like the 71 Z/28 better than the 69.

I like the 70 better than the 71 but for some reason you didn't offer that as a choice.

I went a to look at a 6th gen today. Nice car but after owning a Z28 the brakes look small and the tires look skinny on the new SS.
