Keep the faith is for people that are looking for ways to discourage themselves from buying the car.

For example:

"Oh the side mirrors are bigger and they moved the reverse lights... I don't know how good the Camaro will be because these aren't exactly like the concept like GM said..." (btw GM said it would be as close as possibly and is more than 95% the same)

But otherwise, there was a great video posted about Fbodfather aka Scott Settlemire speaking about the camaro. That sure instills anxiousness in me everytime I watch it. go check it out in the media/spyshots forum for more motivation.

Figure out how much you can afford to pay for the Camaro, like monthly payments..... Open a savings account (no withdrawals) Start making payments on the Camaro NOW... into your account. It will be there for your down payment, and you will get .02 interest............

I made a excel spread sheet and I input my pay check and it divids it up into different areas of spending for me, like rent, food, GAS!!!!!!, and extra. This way I know how I spend my money and how much I should be saving, and believe me it really helps to see the amount saved for me with a pic of a Camaro next to the total.

Spend more time looking at pics/threads on Camaro5.com. It's fun and best of all it's FREE.

For me, the easiest way to not spend money is to not have it. I try to only spend cash in my wallet, the money that I can see is the money that I have. Everything else goes into my savings account. Set some sort of reasonable budget for yourself for weekly expenses (groceries, gas, entertainment, fast food, etc) and essentially give yourself an allowance. When wednesday hits and you see only $10 in your wallet, you might decide that going to McDonalds isn't really needed. However, that may not work for everyone.

So, try the same thing but working from the other end. Instead of spending a fixed amount, you are saving a fixed amount. Set up an account so that every month it will automatically transfer a fixed amount to high interest savings account. Set this at some reasonable amount, depending on your earnings and costs. With the money taken away to an account which you never really see or use, interest can just grow.

Lastly, cut costs where you can. Mostly this is from entertainment, electricity, and gasoline. Going out to see a movie every week with a loved one gets expensive. There are lots of little things that can be done around the house to save juice, and therefore cash -search online for them. Same goes for gas saving tips. There are lots of ways to drive more efficiently, from inflating tires to planing routes better.

how old are you? lol here goes the recruiter in me. . .even though I don't do that for a living. Join the Air Force, Deploy for 4 months at a time (depending career field once ever 18 months or as many as twice a year if you want). Enjoy a luxury hotel while TDY to guam for 4 months. or worst case some middle eastern country that you don't have to worry about getting shot at. . .make 12k in that 4 months that's not taxable. . .and bam. a very nice down payment. . .but granted that means you give up 4-6 years of your life. . .on second thought set up a budget.

Just one thing: think about the future: in 20 years, your camaro will be still beautiful, powerful and the price will only be a bad memory. In 20 years, your wife will not be that pretty and over the years, she will cost much more than the camaro. And your mariage will remain a bad memory but you will live it over and over every morning

So sell your wife, and buy a camaro
