Wastegate question
Anyone know if the wastegate HAS to be close to the turbo. I decided with a rear mount but I really like the color and look of my wastegate, would it not be as effective in the engine bay ?

You may have more look posting in the Forced Induction forum. If I knew the answer I would gladly chime in, just trying to help you out!

No you can put it anywhere, but there may be a slight difference in boost control depending on where you place it. But no matter where you put it, just make sure the wastegate vacuum line references the intake mani.
