E85 questions

2.55 upper pulley, CAI, Headers, RD HE, 1000cc injectors, I'm about to switch over to E85 next week. I have a KB BAP. I was told the BAP would be fine for my setup. Anyone have any first hand experience with this? Is the BAP gonna do the trick, or should I have gotten a pump upgrade?

I made 640 with a zl1 pump and bap on e85. Injector duty cycle was ~80% was getting some pressure drop from the pump but my tune is spot on

I have never have had a tune for E85 but if you are losing any pressure in the fuel line you really are walking the ragged edge and should upgrade the fuel pump. If for whatever reason you end up running the engine lean it will burn something in the combustion chamber and that is expensive. It is always smart to have extra fuel pump capacity to avoid burning up plugs, valves, and pistons. I would run a dual pump if I was you.

BAP will be enough for your setup. I recommend getting a Wideband or something to monitor your A/F or fuel rail pressure

My Tuner does BAP with ID850 all the time at around E50-E60 and works good. Should gain 50-60 rw when going to a E85 blend. In my opinion for anyone modding their zl1 with more then a few mods you need to invest in a a/f wideband and something you can datalog with. I have HpTuners Pro on a laptop that's only used for the car and stays in the car. It's a nice investment if you want your car to run 100%.

Ok little update guys. Pump booster is at 17 volts, and I'm leaning out just a tad between 6200 and 6500. That's at 71% ethanol levels. Is it possible to rig up the Boost a pump and get it at 18 or 19 volts?

What is your fuel pressure at 6200 - 6500 ??
The KB BAP is advertised to 17.5v

I have a JMS and stock pump and make 850whp with a e50 blend. I am at the limits though.
