Test Drove a 16SS yesterday

Was at my dealer picking up a set of floor mats for my zl1 and the spring spacers I never got and saw a SS. The GM is my buddy so he handed me the keys and told me to let him know what I think.
Complicated ugly interior
Cramped seats(I'm 51, powerlifting hobby 280lb frame)
Nice flat torque curve
Fast car, good ride quality

Nice car, better then the 13SS I had in some ways, not close to a ZL1. Different ballpark actually.

I think you're def right about parts of the interior. I like the new dash and wheel, however I like the seat and the door panels on the 5thgen better

So what was the sticker on this car? 1SS or 2SS?

Looked At A Blue 2SS And I Agree - - Would Not Trade My ZL-1 For It

Thumbs down

Same here, compared mine to a white SS 6th. gen, very cramped interior, no back seat space available, just liked the front view, maybe also the sides. Hood vents look like cheap plastic.

Very curious to drive a Gen6, and will at some point. I sat in one but didn't want to drive as the only one at the dealership was an auto and I'm a die-hard manual person.

Interested in more details on this: "not close to a ZL1. Different ballpark actually."

$47k?! hell I thought the whole point of bringing the Camaro back was to make it an affordable sports car for the common car guy. They keep upping the prices and soon they're going to lose their mid-range muscle car.
