OEM Chromed or 2016 Take-offs

Factory PVD chrome rims like the link below or 2016 SS take-offs (providing they fit on a 2014)?

URL: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=111729980564&alt=web

The PVD chrome rims are nice but over $1500 shipped.

Oof.

"Estimated between Wed. Mar. 2 and Wed. Mar. 9
This item has an extended handling time and a delivery estimate greater than 30 business days."

What's up with that? That's just crazy.

I didn't even notice that. I'd probably just call them and drive up there one day to save the shipping. It's less than three hours away from me. I do like those though. They'd be great summer wheels on my black SS.

I think you can get them way cheaper. Factory Reproductions has them in the 900.00 range!

Yes, but these are the original factory rims with PVD chrome.

My buddy with a zl1 bought some 5spoke machined and kept
The orginals intact so he has options. I understand keeping the orginals intact. Thought about what you are doing for sure. I was always afraid the exchange wheels may have come off a car with a lot of miles. Mine only have a few thousand miles on them.

I'm not that concerned. They appear to be a decent sized company, so they're probably not in the habit of selling crappy wheels. I REALLY like that finish, but I agree, the price leaves something to be desired. I would use those for summer and run my stock wheels in the winter.
