Will the radio still play with the Scosche kit disconnected
Will the radio still play if the Scosche kit is disconnected?

I don't *think* any audio data goes through canbus, but the scosche does take the canbus data that tells the factory radio and amp to actually turn on, and turns it into power signals that aftermarket radios can understand and interact with.

In theory, and if my memory is correct, if you found an alternate means of powering and switching the radio and amplifier on, the sound should come through without needing the scosche
